The Patagonia (Sunnyside) property is located near Nogales, Arizona about 45 miles (72 kilometers) south of Tucson in the prolific Laramide porphyry copper province. Patagonia is situated along the trend of the Cananea Mine to the south and the Resolution Copper deposit to the north.
The property consists of 295 claims totaling approximately 5900 acres (2287.6 hectares) containing several areas with drilling completed by ASARCO, Anaconda and others.
Four main targets (and several secondary targets) were identified by geologic mapping and core drilling conducted from 1952 through 1992. The main targets are:
- BX Breccia
- Sunnyside Deep
- Sunnyside Shallow
- Sunnyside Skarn

- Surface sampling for precious metal centers (complete)
- Geophysics and geochemical testing (complete)
- Assaying and re-logging of approx. 35,000 feet (2388 meters) of core (complete)
- Complete permitting for drilling (in process)
2012 Work Program

- Approximately 8,000 feet (2,438 meters)
